Approval rating is the happiness of your civilians. This can rank from 0.00% to 100.00%. Low approval rating can cause rebellion, to handle it, you must have enough troops to handle the riot.

Raising Approval:

You can raise your approval rating by having Low taxes, or you can provide your population with Liquor. to give them Liquor, you can click the Approval link on the planet page, and it will provide you with the option to give your population Liquor.

The best way to raise your approval (especially after invasions) is to move all your civilians of the planet until you only have 10,000 left (workers and troops do not affect this) then when you use liqour (ONLY 100 at a time for it to work) and have 1,000 liqour on the planet it will get to 100%

Things that Lower Approval:

• High taxes
• Disease, which requires Medicine to cure.
• Rebels *not proven, but I believe it does slow or stop the increase of Approval.
