There are 4 different types of ships. There are Freighters, Warships, Transports and Dropships. Freighters are ships that transport cargo anywhere in the galaxy. Warships are ships with guns, used for attacking and defending against enemies. Transports are ships that carries civilians, workers, and troops. Dropships are ships that carry mechs. Transports and Dropships are used during invasions. Load them with troops and mechs and a battle will begin from defender and attacker. Also there is a limit of 20 ships per grid owned by one player.

You can transfer goods from one ship to another by clicking the ships name that is carrying the cargo, even between different Tribes. Both ships must be in the same Sector, System, and grid. Then, if the item is stored in the ship, you can transfer by going down lower on your screen. Keep in mind also that freighters can only carry one type of cargo at a time.

This doesn't yet but it will add an entry in the Fleet Log of the Ship Owner if it isn't you. Ships will also be able to dump Cargo if someone Transfers them Items they don't want.

To make it easier for Players to track their Starships, I've changed it so that Players can name their Ships. If you go into the Ships Info you can rename the Ship any name upto 20 characters. You can name different Ships the same thing and it doesn't check to see if the name is already taken. But only you can see the name you give it. Other Players will still see 'Light Cruiser' even if you've renamed it 'Death From Above'. The names are only meant so that you can track your own Ships better. All Ships start with their Class Names as they are now and if you rename the Ship but leave the name field empty it will reset the name back to it's Class Name.

You can change your flag ship to any ship you own. In order to change your flag ship you need the ship you want to become your new flag ship in the same grid as your current flag ship. You then need to click the tickboxes so that the only ship ticked is the one you want to become the flag. Then in the bottom right hand corner there is a tick box with: 'Select Flagship'. Then once ticked, you click 'select' at the bottom

You can Refuel your Ships anywhere by clicking on your Ship name. You'll have the option to Refuel Hydrogen, using turns. The amount you get depends on the hydrogen density in a grid. Systems are always minimal, those without a system are usually from very low to very high. Higher density means you obtain more hydrogen from refueling per turn.

An alternative way is from an H platform. They refuel your ship much faster regardless of hydrogen density. They first need to have a Hydrogen Extractor or a purchased supply of hydrogen and then moved to your Hydrogen Platform.
