Farm planets are normally Terrestrial or Utopia planets with high civilian and worker populations that players use to make massive amounts of food & water. The high populations, large food and water reserves with a high Approval Ratings) combine to make planets that are literally "Farms" for Civilians. They can be used to feed other planets as well as to produce civilians to populate them.
